Grizzlies Sign Three New Forwards

The California Grizzlies have been hard at work securing players for this upcoming season. This week has been an eventful one with 3 former San Diego Superhornets players joining forces with the California Grizzlies to make the jump to Professional Hockey. The Grizzlies are very excited about these new additions and we feel these players showcase the values the California Grizzlies stand behind.

Grizzlies are proud to announce the signing of Caleb Travis. Caleb comes to the Grizzlies after playing for a club in San Diego, totaling 10 games, 5 goals, 5 assists, and 30 penalty minutes. Caleb played most of his junior hockey years in the WSHL where he played a total of 119 games with 84 total points. Caleb is a tough hard nosed forward who has scoring touch and can also pass the puck. Caleb will add some depth to the roster given his experience.

Grizzly fans, meet Matthew Lempianinen, a skilled, gritty forward with a compete level through the roof. If you are looking for action, pay attention when this guy is on the ice. Matthew comes to us from a San Diego hockey club last season where he played 10 games, achieving 2 goals, 8 assists and 35 penalty minutes. The Grizzlies organization is very excited about this new addition.

Last but not least Grizzly Fans, meet Joe Skoczylas, coming from Boston, Massachusetts!

Joe will add some grit and skill to the forward end. Playing last season with a team in San Diego, Joe played a total of 8 games, tallying 11 goals, 3 assists, and 34 penalty minutes.
