1st Annual Toy Drive Weekend

Orange County, CA.

With the Holiday Season approaching, the California Grizzlies begin to change into their seasons' cheer and good tidings as the team prepares for its 1st Annual Toy Drive Weekend on December 6th and 7th.

Following a series postponement against the New Mexico Hockey Club that was moved to March 28th and 29th, the Grizzlies will gear up for their second meeting of the season as the Las Vegas Wranglers look to rebound from their back to back losses to the Grizzlies in the opening weekend. The Grizzlies, who are itching to get back out on the ice, are looking forward to the opportunity to continue their dominance in the opening measures of this 2024-25 Western Professional Hockey League's Exhibition season. With legs churning up front for the Grizzlies productive offense, lead by forwards Tyler Maxwell and Sean Reynolds, the Grizzlies will continue in its pursuit of excellence in practice on Tuesday as the team looks to produce a tough and gritty yet clean, fast-paced, high quality level of hockey. On the Grizzlies back end, Defensemen Tyler Sybil, accompanied by Andy White and Nicholas Short, continue to protect the house as Michael Erving and Matthew Genter stand guard in the net front.

Fans are not only welcomed but encouraged to participate in the gift of giving that weekend series against the Wranglers on December 6th and 7th by bringing toys and other holiday gifts for donation. The Grizzlies, in partnership with Medina Boxing Gym, will take all donations and proceeds to Friends Church Orange and Youth Centers of Orange's Annual Santa's Workshop to be passed out within the community to local families.

Give the gift of joy this Christmas season and spread cheer into the lives of those who welcome it most by joining the California Grizzlies in celebration of the season of giving at the California Grizzlies' 1st Annual Toy Drive Weekend on December 6th and 7th, 7:30 PM at Ice Realm, the Official Practice Facility of the California Grizzlies.
